10 am - 4 pm – Admiral Finbar’s Conch Republic Maritime Academy Sail Training Intensives aboard the Schooner WOLF. Sailors of all skill levels are invited to join the Conch Republic’s First Sea Lord, Admiral Finbar for this 2 Day Sail Training Intensive. Learn traditional rigged ship handling techniques, celestial navigation, line handling, knot tying, nautical speak and a variety of navigational tools (from stone-age to space age!) Noon - 4 p.m. Conch Republic Navy SHOOT & SAIL with Admiral Finbar aboard the Schooner WOLF. The 4 hour shoot and sail takes you out past the reef into the open ocean and is open to all qualified marksmen. Traditional weapons encouraged. This is a live fire competition! 10am-Noon – Historic Walking Tour of Old Town Key West with award-winning author and lecturer Robert N. Macomber. Take a step back in time as Bob brings to life the Civil War era in Key West. Tour departs Ambrosia Key West’s Historic House, 615 Fleming Street (meet at the Captain’s Suite Porch at 9:45am to register.) Tour departs promptly at 10am and concludes at Voltaire Books, 330 Simonton Street, where there will be a book signing.

4 – 6 pm – Key West Maritime Holiday Party & End of America’s Hurricane Season Party aboard the MOHAWK WWII Museum Ship at Truman Annex Waterfront Pier. Join the Conch Republic High Command and Pirates in Paradise scurvy crew to symbolically signify the end of this year’s Hurricane Season with the burning of the Hurricane Flags.
